Chhatron Ki Goonj made a comeback on September 19 when Congress leader Rahul Gandhi addressed students in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The programme was based on issues related to education, examinations, employment and the problems faced by students and competitive-exam aspirants.
This event was organized as a part of a national-level campaign that began in June. The Congress party says the programme is aimed at providing students a platform to voice their views on issues related to leakage of papers, exams, cost of education, recruitment and employment.

In addition, there was direct contact between Gandhi and students, where some of the participants expressed their concerns related to professional education, recruitment exams and delayed processes of academic affairs.
