Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff is safe as unknown attackers opened fire on a car carrying the Bollywood actor in the Juhu locality of Mumbai, on Sunday evening, October 18.

Tiger Shroff News Today: What Happened in Mumbai?

The firing happened near Pushpa Park in the Juhu locality as Tiger Shroff was leaving the place after playing football. The attackers allegedly came in a motorcycle and fled from the scene after opening fire at the car of the actor.

The actor sustained some minor injuries which are believed to be due to gunpowder and broken glasses from the car. His driver and an auto rickshaw driver too suffered injuries and were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Tiger Shroff and his family members were visited by Maharashtra deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde who assured that the government will look into the matter seriously.

As per the Indian Express report, investigations into the CCTV footage and the identification of the alleged shooters are under way. The police have made several teams to probe into the matter.

Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Claim: What Do Police Know?

A post on social media by Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu taking responsibility for the shooting under the banner of the Lawrence Bishnoi group along with an audio threat to people in the film industry working with Salman Khan was made public.

Nevertheless, the claim should not be considered independent proof of responsibility for the shooting as the police are investigating who the shooting was done by and what the motive for this crime was.

This shooting has brought back the memory of other attacks and threats made towards Bollywood stars, including the shooting at Salman Khan’s house and the murder of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique. These events were included into the overall security situation, but not necessarily indicate a motive for the attack on Tiger Shroff.
